The topic of small talents is often touched upon. They amaze everyone with their abilities. Eight-year-old Andrey Kiselev was one of those talented children who became famous thanks to the “Best of All” program. Dmitry and Maria were offered to take care of a child who had no parents. They did that too. In addition, the couple raised three children of their own. Andryusha’s father, a former samba player, tried to introduce the active and agile boy to sambo, but he was not interested in wrestling. But when he happened to see the performance of Olympic medalist gymnast Alexey Nemov, the child was inspired and easily repeated the difficult trick. His father was especially surprised by the fact that Andrey had no physical training, and there was a contraindication for sports in his medical record. After a complete medical examination, it became clear that not allowing him to play sports was a mistake, and the boy was sent to a sports school. The talented child quickly surpassed his peers and was admitted to the Lokomotiv youth sports school in Yekaterinburg.
Already at the entrance exams, he showed the best result among the applicants and was immediately included in the second year preparation group. In just a year and a half, Andrey became one of the best athletes in the region, the winner of many competitions. The young athlete sent a video with his own record for the number of push-ups to the “Best of all” project. Within two hours, Andrei did more than five thousand push-ups. He was inspired by a YouTube video in which a six-year-old Chechen athlete did 4,000 push-ups. And during the program, he set a record again.
The organizers also prepared a surprise for the young record holder and invited his idol, Alexey Nemov, to the studio. The famous gymnast was delighted with the boy’s unique sports abilities and promised to help him prepare for the Olympic Games. Andrey admitted that he wants to definitely win the Olympic Games in the future. Today Andrey Kiselev is ten years old, he knows for sure that artistic gymnastics is what he wants to dedicate his life to. He trains under the guidance of coach Sergey Luzin, he trains 5-6 hours a day, except for Sundays. Last year, the young athlete entered the children’s world record book with 10 records, set one Russian and one world record.
At the same time, Andrei studies well, communicates a lot with friends and sometimes appears on television shows. His Instagram page has more than 120,000 subscribers, and his sports challenges gather admiring commentators from different countries.
