“Neuneu has left us”. The sad announcement was made by Laurent Ruquier on his Instagram account, reported Le Journal des Femmes on Monday, January 30.
In this post shared on Sunday, the TV and radio host explained that the health of his friend Labrador Retriever with the sandy coat had deteriorated for more than 3 months. The moving tribute of the native of Le Havre to his deceased dog is accompanied by a photo where we see him tenderly put his hand on the head of the quadruped.
Laurent Ruquier, who will celebrate his 60th birthday next month, wanted to emphasize the joy and happiness that his pet had brought him on a daily basis.
“He was a joyful dog until the end. A companion of good and bad times,” he wrote about Neuneu.
If he said obviously “sad” of the disappearance of the canine, he assured that he was determined to imitate his deceased companion by being “joyful until the end because life is beautiful.”
The publication of Laurent Ruquier has caused many reactions, including from personalities of the small screen, artists and journalists.
“Little Neuneu, little creature all in sweetness and leaps of joy, drunk with gaiety and love … We mourn him,” commented the actress and singer Arielle Dombasle.
“Oh I’m sorry my Laurent, really”, said, for her part, the host Karine Le Marchand.
Cristina Cordula, Elodie Frégé and Valérie Trierweiler are also among the celebrities who have expressed their sadness and support for the host of “Grosses Têtes” on RTL and “Enfants de la télé” on France 2.
On New Year’s Day, it is also through a photo of Neuneu that he wished a happy new year to his audience, inviting them to have “sweet dreams, like” Labrador.
Laurent Ruquier’s Instagram account has many other posts with the quadruped in the spotlight, testifying to the wonderful complicity that linked them.
