Many people try to live and fail to notice problems that do not concern them.
We want to introduce you to a man who spends several hours of his time every day bringing water to the arid areas of Tsavo West National Park.
Patrick Kilonzo Mwalua – lives in Kenya, he is engaged in filling dry waterholes so that the animals living here do not die of thirst.
The animals already know who he is and what he does, so each time they walk slowly towards the man.
Elephants, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and many other local residents completely depend on this person, because there is absolutely no water in these places.
And the T-shirt with the Superman sign goes to Patrick like no other, because he’s the local hero!
Patrick is an ordinary farmer in one of the nearby villages. When he saw how the animals were suffering from the lack of rain, he could not remain indifferent. So now every day he fills up his water tank, which holds over 11,000 liters of water, and hits the road.
“Yesterday, 500 buffaloes were waiting for me at the watering hole. When I arrived, they immediately smelled the water… Without even waiting for me to leave, they rushed to drink water, because they were literally dying of thirst,” says Patrick.
Seeing animals come to life after drinking enough water is the greatest reward for Patrick!
